GENERAL RULES
Lochmoor Stables is a non-smoking facility. Please supervise young children and leave your dogs at home. Lochmoor Stables is open to the public Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM, weekends 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM and is closed on Mondays.

DRESS CODE
ASTM/SEI certified hunt caps and boots with heels are mandatory when mounted. Paddock boots and chaps or boots and breeches are preferred.
Jodhpur pants and paddock shoes are appropriate for young children. Hair should be neatly hidden under hat with clips and hair nets. Tank tops and shorts are not considered proper attire.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Allow at least 30 minutes prior to your lesson to groom and tack your horse. You should be mounted and prepared for instruction at the proper time. Small children may require assistance from an adult. At the end of each lesson the rider is responsible for grooming his mount, cleaning his tack, and returning all equipment to its proper place. This takes approximately 30 minutes. Please make payments for riding before preparing for your lesson.
BOARDING
Lochmoor Stables provides worry-free, full care boarding. We take care of daily turnout, blanketing, grooming, vet & farrier appointments and follow-ups, laundry, and supplies.

LESSONS
Lochmoor offers Private, or Group lessons in classes of six students or less according to ability and experience. Children age six and up are accepted into Group lessons. Monthly packages are available for Group lessons.

SALES & LEASES
Allow us to help you buy or sell your next horse or pony. We take pride in our knowledge, experience and integrity. Our contacts regionally, nationally and internationally assure you the best value and quality for your needs. We also lease show horses and ponies on a monthly or annual basis
SHOWS AND CLINICS
For those just starting, we offer 9 "in-house" horse shows and attend several local shows annually. For the more ambitious riders, we conduct two "in house" clinics and attend 20-25 AA-rated shows including the Winter Equestrian Festival, Devon, shows held at the Kentucky Horse Park, and all of the national finals. MEET OUR
STAFF
Mindy Darst
Owner of Lochmoor Stables, Mindy Darst has been riding and showing horses since 1968. She began her career as a professional trainer after graduating from Miami University in 1982. After coaching the Ball State Equestrian Team to a national championship and working for several world class trainers, she opened her own Lochmoor Stables in 1990. Year after year, she has consistently trained riders, horses and ponies to top national and local rankings. Mindy is also an American Horse Show Association Registered Judge.
Aubrey Sears
Aubrey Sears has been a part of the Lochmoor team for over three years. She joined us from the University of Findlay with Bachelor of Science degrees in English Equestrian Riding & Training and Business Management. Aubrey grew up showing in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, and continued riding in college to two national titles in the Open (3'6") division. She has done many clinics with top professionals in the industry, and carries her love for the sport into her teaching. As well as teaching all levels of lessons at Lochmoor, Aubrey attends local shows, and runs the summer camp and horsemanship programs. Aubrey will be happy to assist you with creating the perfect program for both horse and rider.
