On May 8 and 9, 2010 Lochmoor Stables was host to the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program. Former Olympic Team Gold Medalist and internationally recognized rider and trainer, Melanie Smith Taylor is the Program's Clinician for all Level I Training Sessions. During the two day training session, the riders were completely immersed in the process of education, horse care, building courses and riding philosophy. The young riders left on Sunday with a renewed enthusiasm for the sport and new friendships.
